From the little I could listen to on the radio it appears, to me, that the Democrats want to impeach Trump for:
1. Being angry at being falsely accused and investigated
2. Ranting to his Cabinet that Sessions is weak, and should reign in this investigation based on false premise
3. Blurting out that he wants to fire Mueller and end all the shenanigans.
The fact is that no matter how pissed he was, and that he ranted and raved about how unfair and bullshit everything was, he never actually used his power to stop the investigation, and other than he, himself, refusing to be interviewed, the whole government cooperated with Mueller completely. In the end his advisors prevented him from doing something stupid to give the Deamonrats any kind of toehold to impeach him.
What we are left with is Nadler's 5 hour tantrum televised.

If I wanted a public figurehead for my coup, I might pick someone with dementia.
They got him contradicting himself several times, the first notable one was his statement on the difference between collusion and conspiracy.
I did like when someone (repub and I don't remember who) compared remarks by Obama about investigations could also be taken as witness tampering or whatever phrases dems are throwing out.
This is all a charade, makes us look like a joke on the international stage. Despite what side anyone falls on, what should be clear here is that the entire upper echelons of gov is corrupt. They all need to go, the media to, as they are in full force of praising and taking up for Meuller. They are also saying they are going to arrest trump if he doesn’t win a second term. I don’t think anyone in the civvie world can grasp just how deep the corruption goes. Make no mistake, when the US falls it will be from our own accord, not a foreign power. That much is clear.

Kind of puts to bed the description of a "tough, thorough, competent investigator".
His performance is as damaging to the reputation of the FBI as are all the arrows that point to them being a primary conspirator in the coup against a duly elected President.
I want someone on either side to ask and get and answer to this some question, “what on earth does Russia have to gain for putting Trump in office?” This is of course assuming their meddling is remotely true.*cough* I mean we took out 60 Russian Forces in Syria early on. That doesn’t seem like anyone that is compadres, nor would it seem Trump would be easier to negotiate with than Hilary especially considering Hilary already ad dealings with them. So what would be their motive for putting Trump in office if you can even believe that? Not to mention they already came out and said early on that if meddling was true it would have had no bearing on the election. So, again, why? Could it be because Russia wants us to tear ourselves apart from within? If so, the leaders of our country are even more ignorant than I thought because if that is their motive then by keeping this charade going they are playing right into Putin’s hands.

IMO, that was exactly what Russia's intent was. It was fairly universally accepted that The Bitch was going to win. I believe any State sponsored action (fucking trolls for the most part) was to whip up the loosing side and sow discord. Evidence of that is the russian trolls stirring up shit on Trump after he was elected. The real story of the '16 election is the (ongoing) attempted coup (that the media won't report on and is an active participant in).
I think most here can agree on that. So, what are we going to do about it? I know @MegaMind is running for his local office. Maybe he can join this thread and give some pointers for more Hide members to go down that path. I’m not even sure how many actually have a clue as to how to run for office. We have two options to change the tide, one you change it locally by running for office or voting for a change and build up from there. Use your imagination for option 2. Yours may vary from mine lol. I’m sure we can all agree the first option is where we need to be. Regardless, change needs to happen.

The curtain has been pulled back to reveal how coups are executed. In this case there were too many idiots involved with the investigation and Trump is smarter/craftier than the investigators. This should be a dramatic turning point for our society but probably won't.
That’s what is funny to me, they keep saying nobody is above the law and I’m over here like, cough cough Hilary Clinton and associates!!! And they keep pointing out how the Trump associates broke all of these laws and that if he wasn’t in office right now he would be in jail, yet we have the Clintons and associates that did some similar things and even worse in other cases, nor is she a sitting president, yet she is not in jail. You cannot cherry pick who and how the law applies to based on your bias.
