Americans do business all over the world in countries more corrupt than Russia, which is a cesspool of corruption. Russia just disappears people one or two at a time. Primary evidence is not scrutinized for its legitimacy, its taken at face value. Any case I have ever seen is the first thing defense does is try and motion to have the primary evidence thrown out. This investigator never even considered he was dealing with fruit of the poisonous tree.
Prosecutors are now no longer tasked with prosecuting a states case through presentation of evidence to prove a crime. The crime is assumed to have happened, no basis of innocence until proven guilty, its the prosecutors job to determine no crime has been committed. If the end of the investigation does not specifically state "No crime" than we are left to continue the investigation assuming there was a crime.
That second part and the stupid shit like reps calling for arrest of citizens that criticize them should be scaring the shit out of anyone that cares about their freedom.
