The only blue part of VA :(
quick question. i cant help but notice on one of the rotating ads that some of the higher end scopes have multicolored numbers on the turret, i presume so you can index the color vs rotation through use of the rotational indication lines that get uncovered as you turn the knob.

questions:

1.) why dont more people do this?
2.) how do you make sure that the colors line up once you zero your scope? i may zero on a 20 moa base vs a flat base and be a rotation off on the knob?

Re: multi rotation multi color knobs

You are correct, on the Hensoldt as the turret goes up the lines change color and that matches the mils adjusted.

There is a height adjustment on the turret, once zeroed you can raise or lower the turret as needed to get it in the right place to match the lines and colors. It really works quite well.
