I want to mount a PVS-4 on a tripod, along with an illuminator -- the tripod has the usual screw fastener. Both the PVS-4 and IR illuminator have Pic rail mounts.

Who makes a small platform with a couple Pic rails to hold multiple optics pointing in the same direction?

Interesting, thanks. Looks like the best way to go is to roll my own; that way I get exactly what I need. Edwin did a great job on his kit.

The Vortex VMS-1 might suit your purposes:

Vortex intends it for their Recon scope, but it has quite a bit of versatility.

* (1) Lower U-bracket
* (1) Upper U-bracket
* (1) Long Double Picatinny rail
* (1) Picatinny Rail / Tripod Mount
* (3) Short Picatinny rails
* (1) Picatinny rail spacer
* (1) AR15 stock adapter

I have the McCann mount for my Leupold spotting scope and an/pvs-27. Works very well. The one thing you need to remember it's designed and made for the Leupold Mark 4 scope and a an/pvs-22 or an/pvs-27. If you have some other combo of scope and night vision it may not work.

So the tripod has just the screw head and no grip or pan head mount on it?
Just trying to get it square.

Thanks
