Ive been watching that Murphy's banner flashing in my face for awhile now and decided to try the Titanium rail from Murphy's Precision.

Thought I would post a couple pics and mention how nice the rails are and the detail Murphy put's into them. Plus they came with stainless screws. Im very impressed!

Check it out...

Murphy Prec is awesome to work with. I PM'd him about a custom rail for one of my stocks and he had it out in a couple of days when others on here pretty much said too bad. He even threw in the new mounting hardware for it!!

Night Poacher & macman2565 - Thanks for the kind words. Its always great to hear from satisfied customers. I try to hustle for my customers, because that's the kind of service I would like to receive myself.

ukshooter - A short action Remington 700 base like that would come in at about 5.0 oz. for stainless, and at 2.8 oz in titanium.

Those are some bad ass rails. I would love to try one of the Ti's. With the sale they were having, they wern't much more than some of the other high end rails.

The Ti rail is very nice,I have a 3-18 IOR in Seekins rings on it and there is no slop at all, the rail is quite a bit lower than my old Ken Farrell rail which is not true mil-std either.Got it about three days after I called Cameron.

Buckey,

I've made a base for a Sako 995, but it didn't use the Sako tapered dovetail, it had holes to match ones that were drilled and tapped by the owner. If you want to go that route, I can certainly make a rail to fit the top of yours, that you can drill at tap to fit.
