Rifle Scopes muzzel loader scope

ML scopes have a parallax set for ML and shotgun ranges. Usually have a larger eyebox, and as above, drops are in 10 yards vs 100yards. Some used to have longer eye relief, but most modern ML and centerfire scopes sit around 4.5".

The recoil impulse of a ML is a lot longer then the typical centerfire cartridge (308, 30-06) so not a problem. Don't know about crossbows. They might be like a spring powered air rifle which can ruin a scope not designed for the reverse recoil.

I've got a VXII 2-7x33 scope on my Omega. Works great out to 200 yards. Although the LR duplex reticle is stupid easy, zero at 100 yards and the next two dots down are dead on at 150 and 200.

I scoped my Encore ml with a Bushnell Elite 1.25-4X. It has an illuminated center dot. Love this scope for this particular application. I've got it mounted in Warne QD rings, so if something happens to the scope I can pull it and resort to the irons.
