New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
I'm putting a 6 creed together and was thinking about using a 22 brake bored, out with 1/2 28 threads. Is 1/2 too thin on the threads or do you think it would be ok ?
that muzzle will be plenty wide enough for a 5/8x24 thread. I would always go with a smaller shoulder if it allowed for a bigger thread. The less meat you take away from the barrel the less chance it might effect the internal dimension of the bore , opening the barrel just .0005" could ruin accuracy.
