My $1.20 Lab Radar base plate

I had some 1/2" CDX plywood scraps in the garage and cut it 12" x 18" and put some felt furniture pads on the corners to help with wobble on the never flat shooting benches and a 1/4" x 1" machine screw countersunk into the wood. I set it up and pushed on the top of it and it won't tip over, it just slides sideways.

Frank's base will need to be wider, heavier and must have a kick-deflecting perimeter fence. With a soft foam coating in case it gets dropped.
