This is my savage model 12 LRP in .260. Have posted pics before showing the progress but now it is finally done. This rifle has been taken out to 1200 yards on multiple occasions and does not disappoint. At 100 yards it can shoot quarters all day as long as I show up. Lol.... In the fall I switched out my leupold mark 4 for the new mark 6 3-18. After shooting Rayners fall sniper challenge in november and getting schooled in about every way possible I added the harris leg notch 9-13 with alpha bravo lock and Phoenix tactical bipod spikes.(previously used standard harris non leg notch). Hope to do better this spring and show what this savage can do.

I'm with you topgun050 I love my savages. I am using the 140 grain hornady A-Max, my rifle loves them doesn't shoot anything else very well besides Sierra matchkings. But I stick with the A-max because it will still knock a ground hog at far distances.

The leg notch made for faster height adjustments and the little knobs on the standard were difficult to deal with in a timed scenario ( for me )The bravo lock made it easier to tighten down so the s series bipod didn't move on me. I also added the padded Cheek rest and a rifle basix trigger to finish up my project.
