I was tooling through my photobucket account and found a few pictures of my .308 that I had taken after each upgrade. Kind of cool to go back and look at where I started with it and see all of the changes since then. I figured I would share with you all. Enjoy.

This one is the plain old SPS Varmint .308 with leupold rings/bases and a Burris Signature Select 8-32x44 scope.

Switched the stock to a B&C Tactical Medalist

Got rid of the Burris and put a Falcon Menace on it

This is when I added the Karsten Adjustable cheek-piece

Had the barrel cut down to 22" and added a target crown

This when I got my Manners T4A, Badger Bolt Knob and Super Sniper 10x side focus

And here is the Atlas

Got the barrel threaded and a thread protector made

And here she is after I put lower rings on her about a week ago.

Sure has come a long way. About the only thing left that I would like to do is have a DBM system installed. Anyways, I just thought I would share this with you all.

Looks like you've changed your mind several times on optics. But she looks good.

How do you like the atlas over the Harris?

Very Nice. How long have you had your Rifle? Do you do any compitition shooting? If so what do you find with the barrel?

The Reason I ask is I am wanting to do a build. I have a pretty tight budget to start with so I was going to get this same Rifel and slowly upgrade it like you have. I was told by a few that the factory barrel wont work very well for match shooting and I needed to have it re-barreled right away. So Im just curious.

Nice setup. The stock looks great. Have you ever compared them to a AICS chassis?

LOL, yeah I've changed a few times, but I'm sticking with SS for a while. I think it's hard to beat for about $400. I haven't had any malfunction or tracking issues with it yet. I like it so much I actually bought another one (16x) for my 300 WSM.

The Harris is no competion for the Atlas IMO. Do a search in the Equipment section, there's a lot of topics about the Atlas. And, there isn't a better guy to deal with than Kasey.

I guess I've had this for about 2 years. I would like to get into competitive shooting, but there is nothing like that around here.

I would say if you're doing tactical style shooting you would be fine with a factory barrelled rifle. This rifle is a shooter if I drive it right, Black-X can confirm this. It's pretty easily a 1/2 moa rifle. Black-x has a factory barreled 700p in an AICS that he has shot 1/3 MOA an 400 yards before, not to mention making hits in a reduced silouette at 1350 yards. So yeah it's possible to get a factory shooter.

Very nice, I like how it looks right now!

I have a factory shooter. It shoots 1/4 moa with a 1/4 moa shooter behind it. The gun is all factory the only after market thing on it is a bedded McMillan HTG. Here are some pictures of the groups.

I did not shoot these the previous owner did. Left is at 200 yards right is at 100 yards.
