Hey guys, so here is my deal.

I am loading for 338 edge right now. Well I need to.

I have me set of 338 rum dies. I have a rock chucker press and I ready to start full lenght sizing.

What do I do to make sure I am sizing them correctly??? What is the trcik to get the die just far enough down in the press. I think it is 10 thousanths.

Seating the bullets is the same in the edge vs the rum...Right?

The trick for me was to call Defensive Edge and order one of their sets of customs dies. Yes it is more expensive, but it gives the results you want without trying to cheat around it.

If you are going to use the 338 RUM sizer, you will need to have it backed off the shellholder approx. .100". This is due to the 338 RUM case being shorter than a 300RUM case. You can get away with sizing them this way for awhile until the base needs resized. The best way is to just get the correct FL sizing die.
