My .338 LM custom build...

This started out as a brand new Remington 700 Police MLR .338 Lapua Magnum and I immediately started the customization process before ever firing a round, I want this build to be perfectly the way I want it from day one, And wow is that pricey by the way.. But well worth every penny in the end im certain!

First off I wanna thank John & Chad @ LongRifles, Inc. For doing the straight flute work on the barrel, CNC machining and installing their own custom muzzle brake, spiral fluting the bolt, installing a tactical knob and Cerakoting the entire rifle including the bottom metal and acrion screws in tactical black.

If the McMillan A5 stock I bought for it would have fitted properly, I would be shooting this baby today but thats not the case. This build is haulted until I can get a McMillan A5 that fits this properly so then I can bed it and then mount my optics on it and finally shoot it.

I just thought I would share this with yall and give these guys the credit they more than deserve.

FYI: If anyone has any help on the stock situation, that would be greatly appreciated!

Its Finally Finished!!! A McMillan A5 Tactical Stock, Professionally Bedded with a Badger Ordinance 20MOA Sighr Base and some Vortex Precision Matched Rings and a Vortex Viper PST 6-24x50 FFP Illuminated Scope and im finally able to zero thia baby in and work up a load that this rifle is gonna like to the tune of tiny groups. Either that or sell it considering winter is approaching and I could use the bucks back. Hmm, well a test fire certainly is in order either way!!

It sure feels good to finally finish this project though.. It came out exactly as I pictured in my mind's eye almost 6 months ago.
