Re: My 700 aac-sd

What took 7.5 hours to do during break in?

Very nice rifle.

Re: My 700 aac-sd

I have shot it for break in
Did not measure for groups.
Shots 1-5 clean with sweets 7.62 and Butches Bore Shine and Kroil.
Shots 6 -10 clean again
shots 11-16 clean again
Than Clean after every 10 till 50
Waiting for cool down took most of the time..
It might be a little much, I shall find out when my bolt gets back..

Re: My 700 aac-sd

Very nice rifle. I started with the same AAC-SD. It's interesting to see how people with the same base model 700 build them differently to suit their personal needs/liking.

Re: My 700 aac-sd

thinking of using some 168 or 175 smk with some Varget or 8208 xbr
I have some Berger 168 vld made up now..
Waiting to get knob back

Aint no "might" to it.

If it made you happy to do it, then rock on! Just don't fool yourself into thinking it made any difference where the rifle in concerned.

Looks like a nice rig. Have fun with it.
