My AI mag won't feed tha last round??

You want to adjust the lips ever so slightly so the round sits lower in the mag towards the base and ever so slightly canted upwards towards the neck. Just enough to smoothly ride the feed ramp of the action. That should fix any problems you have with first and last round feeding.

I would think that you would want the "Rear" or base of the round to be higher in the mag not the front?? Mine seems to be riding over the top of the round not picking it up or am I missing something here??? Thanks guys!!!

Maybe it's just mine, but my particular AI mags feed better with it lower toward the base.

Honestly I don't even hardly use my AI mags anymore. The Accurate Mags are WAY better I've discovered.

I am using a Rem 700, McMillan M40A1 stock, Atlas Werks bottom metal. I was mocking it up for fitting the pillars. Even without the pillars and the bottom metal fitted flush against the bottom of the action the round would not be picked up. In fact I had trouble originally the bolt picking any of them up. I finally cut the rear portion of the bottom metal down so it fit the radius of the bottom of the action and now it feeds perfectly. I don't know if thats the right thing to do but it seems to work now. I measured the distance and cut my pillars to fit that distance with and added .010 and just finished epoxying them into the stock getting ready for bedding now.
