My waders worked great.
My wading boots worked great.
My Okuma rod was awesome. Two guys broke rods, but the SST's that we bought worked without an issue.
My Shimano reel was awesome as well. Love that reel.
Basically all the gear I took, functioned very well. I didn't have trouble with anything that I can recall. I would have liked to have been better prepared with a better variety of lures, in various sizes. The ones I took wound up being kind of big, so I mostly used flies that I bought at Sportsmans Warehouse. Pink flies where hot most of the time.
Didn't even carry the bear spray. Wound up having to give it away at the airport as they wouldn't allow it to go in our checked baggage. We did see that set of tracks that was about 200 yards behind us, but that was the only sign we saw in our area.
Had an awesome time. The best part was sharing the trip with my Dad.
