Hey every body! So I got my rifle back from Keith J. at AZPrecision and here is what I have to say. First off let me say that Keith is one the nicest/easy going people I've had build me a rifle and after recieving this weapon its certain that he has a lot more going for him than just great customer service. The quality in the rifle can easily be compared to that which you would find in a GAP built weapon. I'm not just saying that, I have had the pleasure of doing buisiness with George at GAP and I know they can build damn good rifles and now I know... so can AZPrecision. So here it is as listed, my new 6.5 CREEDMOOR.

-Remington M700 SA RH Trued, ejection port lengthened.
-Remington factory bolt trued
-Jewell trigger
-PTG .250 SS tapered recoil lug
-Shilen Select Match SS .264 cal 1:8.5 MTU contour at 24" chambered in 6.5 CREEDMOOR
-McMillan A4 bedded (50% grey 25% tan 25% black finish)
-CDI DBM w/ Cproducts 10rnd mag and 5rnd mag
-warren Tactical scope rail
-scope base holes opened to 8-40
-Bardger 30mm rings
-AZP bolt knob
-AZP bolt shroud MOD
-barrel, action and bolt cerakoted in black.
-Speedlock firing pin assembly
-all topped with my Leupold mark 4 M5 FFP 6.5-20x50 TMR

the rifle has been broken in w/ 20 rnds fired, range report coming ASAP! This rifle will be heading to New Mexico with me for the Score High Tactical Rifle challenge.

Re: MY AZ Precision 6.5 CREED!

I'll get some good pictures of the groups and load data. I loaded up 5 of each... 108 lapuas, 120 nosler, 130 berger VLD and the 140 A-max all with H4350 for break in. (43grns for the 108 and 120) (42. grns for the 130 and 140) all shot wonderfull but I didnt bother to shoot new targets per load so the group or groups just don't do the rifle justice since they are so close to each other.

Re: MY AZ Precision 6.5 CREED!

That is beautiful, Moore. Looking forward to your range report, as well as my own AZ Precision rifle that I should be able to fondle soon!

Yes I do! I had the 6.5 creed in a DPMS a while back. Loved the round but wasn't in to into th AR rifles so I sold it to have this one made.

Re: MY AZ Precision 6.5 CREED!

Thanks Scott that meens a lot. Part of his final for his gunsmithing class was to do a certain amount of work which added up to 7k$ or so total. Thats when he was able to take some limited work in to fulfill that obligation.

Re: MY AZ Precision 6.5 CREED!

Here are some groups fired recently while working up a load. Rifle was fired from the prone with a Harris bi-pod and rear bag. The rifle shoots way better than I can. While I can usually get a great 3 shot group around 1/4-1/2", shooting a 5 shot group is a different story. It really goes to show what it takes to shoot greats groups. Loads were simply picked from some .260 Remington load data. The rifle really seems to shoot everything great, alls I gotta do is pick what I like and get good at shooting it.

Re: MY AZ Precision 6.5 CREED!

Nice shooter and nice looker too. My 6.5 CM that I just finished up has me smiling every time I get to shoot it long.

I've only shot the 140 Amax's from it with the load off the back of the box, and it's been routinely impressive. Hornady has a great round there, and publishing the factory load data on the back was a genius marketing move.

Nice work, Keith. Congrats on graduation as well.
