well right now I dont have the money to afford a custom LR rifle from gap or anything like that so I thought I would show off my custom smokin gun. I made this thing all from flat pieces of material, rolled, broke and welded it. damn thing works awesome, holds heat really well and now that ive used it a few times its nice and seasoned so every time I walk buy I get a great smell off of it. the grates are 29X36 and out of stainless steel, even has holes in it for jalapeno poppers. there is a drip tray underneath that doubles as a charcoal tray if you wish to grill out instead of smoking. the barrel is 5 foot long and ten inches in diameter with a damper at the muzzle. the trigger, the hammer,handle on door, and the stars are stainless steel. the stars on the grip will turn to vent the fire and control heat. The grip is made out of 3/16 steel and the rest of it is 10g. all of the ad ons like the trigger guard and hammer are two pieces welded together with a 2.5 inch piece in the middle to give it a 3d look. well I hope you enjoy my build, I am very proud of it. u guys think I could make it as a real smith?
