My first bolt action build

I've been shooting for a few years and wanted to give some long range shooting a try. Once I got promoted at work I went out and bought all this.

Savage 10FP HS .308
Falcon Menace 4-14
EGW HD Steel Base 20 moa
Harris LMS Bipod
Burris Xtreme Low Rings

I'm headed out to the range in the morning to sight it in. Wish me luck.

Looks like a good first choice......however you'll probably need another job soon to fund the next couple of rifles once the disease spreads !

Man i wish my results were were better. But i got my zero close. I really just am not comfortable yet and i'm sure i'll get better with more practice.

All were at 100m.

First Group before zeroing, I wasn't shooting at this target yet!

Three shot group

Five shot group

Finally changed ammo from the craptastic Winchester that i had left over to the Federal. My groups got better.

Give the rifle and yourself some time to get broken in and I'm sure you'll both be happy as can be.
