I did some rookie mistakes but nothing that glass bedding will not fix. It is starting to look like a rifle but there is still a LONG, LONG way to go before this is even remotely ready. Everything is pretty much hand carved/viled with a little help from belt sander and dremel. I did not dare to use a router.

Exactly why I resisted the urge to use a router. Better to take it slow. Patience is the key, should not be a problem for members in these forums (hunting and precision shooting).

Partly yes. Mostly with chisels and carving tools. Also used a file. You have to be careful with chisels as laminate will chip easily. Next stock I will most likely be using pneumatic grinder instead.
