just bought a gen 3 glock yesterday brought it home took the slide off to oil it up and i see that it has a dual captive recoil spring and from what i have heard they do/had problems wich is why i diddnt buy a gen 4 is this a new thing

sub-compacts have always had dual springs. My 26 is a gen 3, bought new this year and works fine.
