he strips at the Wangers on the side.
as a side note, my buddy Rich has two nearly identicle Badger .243's, one done up by George, and another by Kampfeld. They are a beautifull thing.

Well Im at 1100 rouds on the barrel and just shot some groups and were dime size after three consecutive strings. I have the target but to lazy to take a pic. I will say rocks are no slouch but the broughton really does kick ass. i have shot my 243 exclusive this year and at every match I have shot this year it hasnt let me down. Tim can have you a barrel in about 6 weeks or sooner. If you are gonna shoot the 243 start to stock up on H4350 and DTAC's as you will go thru alot of it because you wont be able to put the rifle down. 7.5 twist

I just sold my Remmy .243 with a Rock 1:8 cut rifled on it. I was getting about 3050fps with the DTACS and RL-25. Had about 1100 rounds on it, still was like a laser...

USO 3.2-17x with Horus reticle, same scope that's on my Creedmoor.
I'll just stick with the .243, I really don't see the advantage in the 6xc, and I'm already set up for .243 with like 1000 pieces of brass. Plus mag length has never been an issue.

What were you loading the RL-25 to while getting that 3050fps. I'm at 47.5gr and getting 2950 out of a 26" Rock

Looks like your one step ahead of me on the same thought process. I'm at Badger, Surgeon, Badger, Surgeon???? I'm running 47.3 of 25 out of two 243s. Both have 27" barrels, a 1-8 Krieger that shoots 3150 FPS, and a Bartlien 1-7.5 that shoots 3050FPS. I'd like to get another 1-8 Krieger, but I know others with the same barrel that cant stabalize the DTAC.
