Gap-10 6.5 creedmoor 22"barrel
Magpul PRS
Thruster brake
Nightforce atacr.

Started load development today. Being my first precision semi auto It's a little ruff. The feel is different than shooting a bolt gun. Hopefully I can get a load developed soon. I can shoot holes with my bolt gun but my spread on this one is a little over an moa, but I'm told once you break them in and find a load the gun likes the gap-10 awesome!!!

Nice looking rifle! I'm sure you will find some data to get you in the right direction on load work-ups for her. Love the shit out of my .308 18", a tack driver. Only problem I have had regarding mine is the wet spot on the mat left when I let someone shoot her.

Its an awesome rifle. Its all about learning to reload, load development, and learning how to shoot a big cal semi auto in comparison to a bolt action.

Really cool rifle man! I'm really starting to fall in love with mine. I was back and forth between a GAP-10 and JP. Can't really go wrong with either. I'm not a huge "barrel break-in" guy, but I'm taking my time on this one just because. I'm sure you won't have to worry about MOA groups for very long. Once you get even anywhere close to a good load and more comfortable "driving" the rifle, .5 MOA or better should be the theme. Does yours have the adjustable gas block?

I picked one up from Lofty on here a few months ago, but I haven't had a whole lot of time to spend with it. It was used, but was just re-barreled in 6mm Creedmoore by GAP. I put the JP LMOS and JP Silent Capture spring. Shoots like a bolt rifle! Still using the recommended minimum load from GAP, but can't wait to do actual load development. Probably going to switch out the scope with something lighter/smaller/comparable magnification range. Just an absolute pleasure to shoot though. Only a 3 shot group, but still pretty salty for a gasser!

Not to crap on your thread, but the pics seemed appropriate.....

Lofty put the Silent Capture spring in it, and he had the JP LMOS. Pretty sure you can just order them from JP though.

Does it seem like your barrel gets pretty hot pretty quick? Mine sure does. And the brass is on fire for a while after it comes out. The first time I was shooting it I picked up a spent case that had been on the ground for about 30 -45 seconds, and it burned the crap out of my fingers. It would really suck to get one of those down your shirt!
