Recently I traded my stainless Beretta .32 Tomcat for a Ruger LC-9. with a LaserMax.

Since I already have a Glock 17 I figured staying with 9mm made sense.

The LC-9 is a bit larger than the Tomcat but slimmer and easier to carry inside my belt. Plus, for the money, the LC-9 is a very good pistol and very reliable.

Anyone else decide on a "medium compact" carry gun like the LC-9?

Tomcats are fun to shoot, but that's a good upgrade for your cc pistol. I have a couple shooting buddies that have the LC9 and I was able to get some trigger time on one. I thought it shot surprisingly well considering its small package.

Enjoy!

A friend of mine has one and really likes it. I 'fingered' it a little and it does feel good. Nice and slim like you said. I like the idea that you are staying with your one caliber too.

Keep us posted on how she shoots and how you like it later on...
