Re: My new cowboy iron

Nice smokewagon, pard. Is that an old model or new model? What caliber?

The wife and I have six Vaqueros...four Bisleys (2 each in 357 Magnum and 45 Colt) and two Birdsheads (45 Colt Sheriffs with 3 1/2" barrels), plus a brace of "Vaqueritos"...32 H&R Mag birdshead Single Sixes with fixed sights, so you could say we're fans. They have won my wife and I more than a few Cowboy Action Shooting trophies over the years and provided some of the most fun of any of our handguns.

My long range Bisquero is a stainless 45 Colt with a 5 1/2" barrel and a 12 ounce trigger. It shoots under an inch at 25 yards if I hold my tongue right. If you're ever looking for some pet loads, let me know.

Re: My new cowboy iron

it is a 44 mag. old model. it is pretty sweet. i was shooting it this afternoon with the woman and we both enjoyed it. i was hitting my standard piece of concrete at 100 yards...she was missing the broadside of the barn. but she is improving. i am a fan of the rugers. i am looking for a twin to the one i have if anyone has a line on one.
