I'll definitely post an update once I get her to the range.
Thanks to fellow SH member Seporith, I now have 200 rds of Federal GMM 168's to play with,(plus another 100 I got with the rifle) So I will definitelybe getting out ASAP.

Ha,Ha, I apreciate the offer, but that's actually not my deck. It's just some rotting timbers in the corner of the yard. I just used them because I thought they'd add character to the picture, and my wife had laundry on the coffee table.
As a home improvement contractor, if that was my deck, that would be very sad indeed.

Come to think of it, I've already built a few decks (and other things) for this rifle.
Up till I found the HSP on Gunbroker, I was ready to go Savage all the way. I've heard from a lot of happy Savage customers. As far as the Yankees, I don't really follow sports, so i won't disagree with you.
I've always been more into music than sports.

I just can't look at my rifle the same way now, it's getting jealous.

On a side note, how do you like that TRS-1? I am thinking about picking one up here soon to upgrade from my Centerpoint.

Nothing wrong with your rifle. I'm pretty happy with my TRS-1. I almost didn't buy it due to some of the stories I've heard, but I also heard from some people who really like theirs and have had no problems with them. I decided to take my chances, and I'm glad I did. I had it on my DPMS 300 Rem.SA Ultra Mag for about 70 rds and it held zero. Ive heard some people complain about their glass, but mine is clear enough to see hits at 200-300 yds on 16x.
When the Viper PSTs become available, I'll put one on the HSP and the TRS-1 will go back on the DPMS.
If you get a good one, the TRS is a lot of scope for the money. If you get a bad one, Bushnell will replace it for you.
