Im finally getting into AR shooting and will be giving three-gun a try.

Here's my new tool:

Diamond fluted barrel cause why not. Maybe it'll help cool faster. Looks cooler thats for sure.

15" handgaurd so I can grab on as far out as I want/need and have the longest possible sight radius.

Making my own Brake modeled slightly after one I heard was very effective...

I'll be posting pics of groups and the finished rifle in about one week!

Thank you very much Jordan!

He guarantees MOA with his AR15s and says he often sees better.

Anything under MOA is more than good enough for me with an AR.

Hell Im keeping Irons on it for three-gun so I wont often get to take advantage of it's accuracy.

I'll be putting a scope on for testing obviously though

Re: My New Kings Arsenal AR15!

If you plan to run irons, you would be better off with a barrel mounted front sight. Especially on a hand guard that long.

Exactly what I thought when I saw the rail... Should have kept it carbine looking to show off the sick nasty. Still looks good, but knowing what's under the skirt intrigues me to see it taken off.

Re: My New Kings Arsenal AR15!

Wanted the rail over the fluting. Almost didn't get fluting.
But then why not on an AR, I figured.

I still don't like fluting on bolt gun barrels. But if it really does help with cooling, then sure why not on an AR.
I don't need bolt gun accuracy from this. Although I'm sure it's capable with optics.

Re: My New Kings Arsenal AR15!

Really like the diamond fluting. Understand why the long handguard as you've stated it repeatedly but shame to cover that barrel.

Good luck with 3 gun!

Thank you, I will need it.

I need practice, and hopefully guided training from some guys I know who have been doin' it a while.

What they said ?????

Re: My New Kings Arsenal AR15!

Believe it or not, my goal behind the fluting is faster cooling, not to look kool. So I don't care if it's not real visible. You can still see the fluting in person though.

The idea behind the long rail is so I can hold way out, and have a long sight radius. The rail is plenty rigid for iron sight use. I have no doubt of that.

I tried just that, and it requires a decent amount of pressure to move. And even with all my finger strength, it doesnt move much.

Plenty good for bangin steel out to 250. MY accuracy demands on it aren't very high right now. For the next year I will use irons and practice learning the functions of the rifle. Getting quick at reloads and hitting 5MOA targets out to 300 yards or so.

There's a lot more human error to worry about than there is in this awesome rifle.

Re: My New Kings Arsenal AR15!

We are working on internally suppressed uppers with the quad rail too. To use the quad rail it requires an 1 1/4" tube rather than the 1 1/2 tube with the modular rails. I think it looks awesome . It is an sbr but can be welded and legal length. Retail is about $2795

Re: My New Kings Arsenal AR15!

Also Keith is the first with our new dimond barrel. New for 2012. We also have the twisted flutes like on our site; some others include golf ball, straight , and oval type flutes. But we also have military contour, pencil, bull, and gov. Profiles. The new dimond flutes are also offered in a bull barrel with no threads. The 15" rails we use are very stiff at the muzzle and work great with irons all the way on the front like Keith is running. I got 1 with the same setup but I co witness with an aimpoint t1. Check out the site and go to the contact us page for questions or orders. We are trying to make eisier to purchase our weopons online with option drop downs. Also can be reached at [email protected]. And Thanx again Keith. Weve established a great looking rig now lets see what she functions like! I think you'll be impressed for a semi rifle.

Looks great, Ive used some Samson EVO's on mine too.. really exceptional rail system.. love the brake as well.. modeled after dreadnaught F2 is Im seeing correctly.. but have to admit, yours is much prettier..
