I hate to waste every ones time but I just had to tell someone that I just ordered the bushnell elite 3200 10*40 mildot scope from midway usa. This is big step closer to getting my precision rifle built and ready to go. I have heard that you all say that this is a fantastic scope to start with so lets see what happens. Last week I ordered an hs precision m24 stock as well. Sorry guys just had to put that out there cause I am really excited about this.

Excellent!!

I have 2 of those scopes. 1 in MOA/MIL, and one in MIL/MIL.

It's a GREAT beginner scope. Good, clear glass. Nice turrets. No funny business with a ton of features.

You shan't be disappointed.

Re: My new scope.

I am glad to hear it. I decided to spend the little extra coin and purchased the Mil Mil version as it was recommended by experienced shooters. Heck I just keep my mouth shut most of the time and just listen to what all you guys have to say.

I won't advocate for either MIL or MOA (it's a matter of preference), but I will ALWAYS advocate for matching reticle and turrets. It simply makes things much easier and more intuitive.

Good choice.

Re: My new scope.

See that's the thing. I hate the brown truck. My scope from midway is being shipped usps cause its way faster to my area here. I was even happy to pay the extra 2 bucks to get it here faster. I am sure it will be here tomorrow. I ordered my hs precision stock from stockys and they shipped it via ups and it is taking a week and a half to get here.

Re: My new scope.

Oh I also ordered a set of butler creek covers also. Damn you know guys I think I just may have about 1700 into this whole rifle after everything said and done. This will be my most expensive rifle yet.

There will come a time when you'll wish JUST the rifle would cost ONLY that...

The difference is that with UPS, it will get there. Stocky's specifically states that they have had numerous problems with USPS and will not guarantee delivery, nor will they work with ou if it gets "lost". I had the USPS "lose" a Trijicon 1.25-4x and refuse to make good on it even though they weren't supposed to deliver it at all, but hold it.

When in doubt, ALWAYS choose UPS (or FedEx) over the USPS. They actually have an incentive to do shit right because they can't operate in the red like our tax sucking postal service.

That sucks that happened to you and because of that you have every right to choose those carriers for sure. Dang I cant imagine how pissed I would be if that happened to me.

Unfortunately I think this is most likely that last rifle I ever buy/build. Sad really.

Re: My new scope.

Well I got my new scope in the mail yesterday. The cool thing is my new hs precision stock arrive at the same time also. I gotta tell you dudes that my gun looks completely different now. What shocked me the most was looking through this new scope. I compared it to the 3-12x cabelas scope that came with the gun and for some reason the bushnell at 10x seems like it has a bit more magnification that the cabelas at 12X. I wonder if the cheap cabelas scope is inaccurate as far as its magnification. Anyways I am blown away by this gun now. The only thing I have to do now is get the mike rock barrel installed. The gun looks a little funny with the sporter barrel riding in the huge barrel channel of the stock right now. He He
