Decided on this setup after getting a good deal on the rifle. Still waiting on my Near brake, case, and Mike Lucas bore guide before I get to zero and break it in.

I wouldn't be waiting for shit if it were me! Take the bolt out, center the rifle on the target in a rest by looking down the bore, and zero your scope on the target. You should be on paper, and a few rounds later you should be zeroed. Go out and shoot that thing!

Great combination, by the way. I have a friend with a TRG and an NXS, and I enjoy shooting it very much. Wonderful trigger and ergo's on that rifle.

Gotcha, I was thinking "bore sight" not "bore guide," the Lucas should have clued me in lol. The anticipation would be killing me though!

Waiting on the group buy also. I'm sure it's worth the wait.
How do you like the check weld? Do you feel like you need a spacer?

Re: My new Trg 22/NF with Spuhr mount.

Love that setup!!! Its exactly what I am wanting but I gotta have the green stock. Everyone hates the 17mm receiver dove tail so hopefully the bad ass Spurh will take care of that. Good Luck.

Don't think I'll need a spacer, I'm a ex pro powerlifter so I ain't small lol. meaning i got a big head and cheeks , the spuhr is easy as hell to mount and seems really sturdy, like lifting the rifle by that isn't a problem.

The Spuhr set up look great. Is the NF a 50mm or 56mm bell? I'm trying guess if the 20MOA Spuhr will work for my S&B 56mm with heavy contour barrel in AICS.

Many thanks.

LOL

Yeah... sorry... too busy looking at the Spuhr mount and failed to notice the knob. Out in plain sight.

Thanks Savage110.

Time for another coffee.

Re: My new Trg 22/NF with Spuhr mount.

So been nearly convinced no barrel breakin needed, bore guide still on 3 week wait, how is everyon's opinion on a boresnake fore zeroing instead of waiting on a bore guide?

Re: My new Trg 22/NF with Spuhr mount.

If it were me I'd just take it out and shoot it/ zero it.

Shoot it until the bore guide comes in (no need for a break in) then give it a cleaning, the TRG's can take it.
