Rifle Scopes My new Vortex reticle is difficult to see in low light

I like everything about my new Vortex, FFP scope, (with long range reticle) but I'm worried about being able to see the fine cross hairs in low light. I'm beginning to wonder if I should have bought the illuminated reticle now. Has anyone else had trouble with this, or have any suggestions? I've never owned a long range scope before, so I'm learning a lot. I have this scope on my elk gun.

Low light is the down side to a ffp reticle. You do get used to it but it can be a bit of a pain in the ass. Good luck.
I have a couple PSTs and I don't use my illumination even in low light I just don't care for it.
