Hey Guys,

Got word that my rifle was finished at the Smith's today. I dropped it off while on leave to get a little more work done on it

I had him duracoat the bolt, install a new knob, install a Badger FTE, Bed the stock and true the action.

I have to say, she shoots like a dream. She is a little heavy, but I don't see me walking thru the woods with her. LOL

I wanted to share some pics of how she looks now, compared to how she looked when I got it.

What else would yall suggest I do? She's shooting 1/2 MOA right now with Federal Match 168's.

Here she is when I bought her:

And here she is now after a makeover

Buy 2 or 3 cases of ammo and go shooting. Hard to get trigger time with the rifle at the smith, go bang some steel.

Re: My Remington's back from the Smith :)

I would suggest getting a suppressor if its legal in your state it makes shooting so much more pleasurable. make sure to spend the extra money and get titanium steel ones are heavy as shit.

That's what the plan is

I took advantage of that Nosler Special and ordered 14 boxes of that match ammo. Will be going thru that pretty quick. LOL

I can normally only shoot on the weekends during work which sucks

This one if finicky though as all she likes is the 168's. Nothing else. LOL

Re: My Remington's back from the Smith :)

I'm waiting on the suppressor till I move as I am moving in January to Texas. Don't want to order it now, and then have it be in GA and have to have it shipped to TX once approved.

I shot it today with a suppressor at the smiths, and you are right..that is ALOT more enjoyable

Looks like he did more than bed the stock

If that is his bedding job, then I am gonna have to send in some rifles for bedding.

In other words, what new stock is that?
