My rifle is now complete

Big Brown dropped off my IOR today. Here it is all mounted up. It was a toss up between the IOR and the Vortex Viper PST. The IOR won because I am impatient and didn't want to wait until June. Already been waiting too long as it is.

Can't wait to take it to the range on Friday and get it zeroed in.

Here is where it all started from.

Here it is today. Rem 700 in 30-06, Broughton Barrel-Max Heavy Varmint Contour, McRee Folding Stock, EGW Dual Extended 20moa Base, IOR 3-18 FFP scope

Nice rig.

Am thinking about getting the McRee stock also, though with the cheek rest that far back I'd imagine I will need the dual extended type rails also using USO scopes with shorter eye relief...

Nice rig. How much clearence is there between the bolt and the rail when you open the bolt?

I think it was about a 3 week wait. I got that back last fall.

There was plenty of room between the rail. I had to move the rear ring in front of the knobs though. The bolt handle was hitting the very edge on the bottom of the ring.
