Never seen a long range scope on a scar. Like stated above I'm kinda partial to cqb optics on scar rifles.

I have a Leupold 3-18 Mk6 in mine, seems to work well and look right, but that's just me.

Overall, it looks pretty cool.
I guess I don't understand the LR optic and forward grip on at the same time; I would use the forward grip for more close in stuff with a 1-x powered optic or red dot, in which case the bipod would be removed. If you're going to run it with both, then you should get an offset mount with a red dot and lose the BUIS, or set the BUIS at a 45 degree offset.
How does it shoot with a LR scope on it? I bet 6-24 is too much for it. A 2.5-10 or 3-9 or 3-15 are probably better suited. More lightweight and sleek. If I was you, I would trade the 6-24 for the 2.5-10x32 and use some of the leftover cash toward an offset red dot.
The rear BUIS seems to be really close to the eye piece. Do they interfere with each other in any way?

The vertical grip looks like a butt plug and is worthless in my opinion. The pistol grip with the big ol' honking shelf is too much and unnecessary (unless you really like the ergonomics). The bipod looks really chinese.
My personal opinion: you took a SCAR and made it into something it's really not (actually several contradictory things), BUT you haven't answered how it shoots for you. So if it's doing what you want it to do, then rock on.
I agree with several of the comments - too much magnification for that rifle. I would like to see something in the 1-6, 1-8 or at most, a 2.5 x 10. I just got a Leupold Mk6 in a 1-6 with the CMR-W 5.56 reticle and I am very impressed thus far. I gave up on Leupold years ago but this optic gave me another chance to check them out again. And, I am very happy with its clarity and reticle. Now, back to this, if you ran a Leupold Mk 6 with the CMR-W 7.62 reticle that would be one awesome DMR rifle.
I dig it... Nice thing about modular weapons they can be configured any way you like on any day of the week.

I like it! I have had my SCAR 17 with 175 smk hand loads out to 1000 yards on a 1.5 MOA plate. I was shooting in challenging 10-15 mph winds and getting about 25-33% hits. I borrowed a USO 5-25 from one of my other rifles. I haven't decided what optic I want for it yet. I'm leaning towards a 1-8 optic of some kind to allow me to do do just about everything. My point being while its not ideal for long range precision work, it can do it if it has to, and with respectable results. This is what I love about the SCAR 17!
