she was almost completely white when she came in but she went under a blanket hanging in the doorway

you know its funny. she was a rescue. my prior female i got from a pet store. they both have this habit of picking something up in their mouths when they see me or someone comes by. i really think its from them being in a pet store and when people want to see the dog they take them out of the cage and they give them a chew toy to keep the puppy teeth out of the people. as soon as she comes in she picks up a can or a sock or a TP roll, they love that cardboard roll, lol. but they will stay out all day and night if i dont make them come in.

yup Akita. my second pair. they are all i have had. well we had hunting dogs as a kid, but my own dogs have all been akita. perfect fit for me. we love the cold, walking the nature trails and rolling in the 4x4

They are good dogs for sure,a buddy of mine growing up had one and it was one of the coolest dogs I knew of. I have a Malamute myself,I can't hardly get her in when it's cold out.

she is a sweety. when i lay on the couch she plops down and rests her head on the edge right by my hand. the male just shoves his head under my arm and up to my hand. he will also lay on my chest. he walks up my body and curls up and puts his muzzle under my chin. big babies, lol. 100 pound baby is more like it
