right afterwards she starts having contractions and we are now waiting for the fun to begin, she's already 4cm dialated. we have been trying to figure out how to make this kid come out and all it took was a little gun powder, i'm so proud

Especially the earpro.....

I'll go as far as to say that this is NOT recommended.

Re: My son starting out on the right foot

I hope everything goes well for both mother and child. They make little pint size 22 rifles for kids. Just keep the ammo put up until he's old enough to shave.

Re: My son starting out on the right foot

I'm not a doctor, but that looks like a bad idea. Maybe fine with all the fluid around the kid and all, but that's a lot of noise.

Re: My son starting out on the right foot

Looks a bit like where I shoot sometimes. Went out this weekend and it is getting to hot to shoot with no shade

Glad the wife was able to get out and enjoy it. Good luck with the little one!

AND HE's OUT!!!! my son markus was born today 7lbs 4oz, 11 days early. I"m stoked, mommy and baby and doin great and at home.

Re: My son starting out on the right foot

Very stupid idea really! Babies in the womb normally sleep during the day and that muzzle report is going to mess with his development while he/she sleeps! Lets just hope I'm wrong for the kid's sake.

Re: My son starting out on the right foot

Yeah well, any competent doctor will tell you that a baby's hearing is far more sensitive than an adult's hearing. My wife is pregnant with our 2nd and I don't even play loud music around her. I would NEVER think to shoot a gun around here.

Re: My son starting out on the right foot

actually, their hearing is fully developed by about 7.5 months, and with the water in the uterus acting as a buffer there is very little you will do to the baby. thank you for your concern but my son is fine.

Joe- Congrats to you and the missus, and I think that boy will be just fine!
