took my Tack Driver out to test some new handloads out.

they are:
.300 Win Mag
180 Grain Match Kings
73 grains of H4831
case length 2.6195
OAL 3.410
Muzzle Velocity 2950

and

.300 Win Mag
180 grain Game Kings
72 grains H4831
case length 2.6195
OAL 3.390
Muzzle Velocity 2920

yea, i'm a little upset about that 200 yard flyer ruining that 5 shot group, i know as soon as i squeezed the trigger that it would be a flyer as my sand bag slid out from under the forearm.

Yes, it is a Model 70, with a Hart #7 HV barrel, in a choate ultimate sniper stock.

the model 70 started life as a RMEF Black Shadow in .300 win mag. i ordered a 28" Hart barrel the way i wanted it. after that, i only had enough money for a Choate stock (wanted a McMillan). first glass on it was a Nikon Buckmasters 4.5-14x40mm Mildot. then i upgraded the base, rings and glass to a Farrel base, Night Force Rings, and a Leupold Mark4 M3 ill. TMR 3-10x40mm. might upgrade the glass again to either a Nightforce or a USO.
