My V-22 is in!

I picked up my barreled action from the FFL today, and spent my lunch installing the trigger, scope and mounting it to its chassis.

Specs:

Bartlein Barrel - MTU Contour @ 20", no coating
Jewel Trigger
XLR Element chassis with the folding tactical light stock
USO LR-17 Scope w/Christmas tree reticle (GenIIXR), Mil/Mil
Vortex Precision Rings - High

Man this thing looks sweet. It's worth more than my beat up old truck lol. I can't wait to shoot her. My plans for tomorrow have been set!

Yeah, I've been into bolt guns the last couple of years, but I always check out what is being accomplished with the AR platform. Someday I'll have to get a nice one for myself. Hell, all well executed firearms are cool in my book. You never can have enough lol.

I'll find out how it shoots tomorrow. If it shoots as good as it looks, it may become my new favorite rifle. I love my .308, but finding time to reload is getting harder and harder. That's why I got the .22.

A little extra effort with your first AR will yield great results..
