Night Vision N Vision Halo Lr battery pack tip

I have an external battery pack installed on the top of the scope with velcro brand extreme outdoor. Im not sure if it was due to the cold or just the weak adhesive, but when i would remove the battery pack the velcro on top of the scope would come with it.

So I put a piece of duct tape on top of the scope and stuck the velcro to the duct tape, hunted with it last night at -5, pulled the battery off several times to test it and it held fine.

Good to know, i did try 3m dual lock and had it pull off

I have the anker candybar pack velcro'd to my buttstock. Ive found i dont like the added height of it on top.
