First, what I have is 22 CM with 26” barrel 6.5 twist and will be shooting 95SMKs with Alpha SMP brass. I have two of these barrels getting spun up right now so don’t have them in hand yet.
Like many I have been looking for RL26 somewhere, locally and online with no luck so far because it supposed to work with this bullet/caliber I hear. I’m not a fan of having to scour every place online looking for powder so I woul like to try some other options.
I have been playing with QL and from what I can tell IMR 7828 and N560 seem to have very good velocity at lower pressures compared to the alternative powders that I commonly see being used like H4350 but of course I have plenty of 4350 and will likely try it as well.
I have seen a couple people mentioned experimenting with H1000 but according to data on QL it is just too slow burning and that may be the same case with IMR7828 and N560 but was wondering if anyone had any real world data for these combinations.
