N570 and RL26 300 PRC

I know there's a 28 page thread on the 300 PRC but I'm done trying to wade through it...

Looking for data and velocity with 225's, 215's, and 230's using N570 and RL26 in a 300 prc.
I'll be using a 27" 9 twist barrel.

How close to the lands are you with this load?

I'm running .019" from the lands. Barrel has only seen 100 rounds. Carries 1/2 moa or better out to 875yds so far. Trying to get out to 1000yds tomorrow if I can sneak it in.

I noticed in my load development that whenever I do a ladder that close to the lands it produces the same erratic results. Move the bullet .050-.075” off the lands and the curve is much smoother.

Thank you for your reply, I will try that! Been running the 3100fps load and it's holding less than 1/2 moa. I will do another ladder.

I got rid of the prc awhile ago it was a huge disappointment.
I'm getting better velocity and accuracy with the 30 Nosler that I recently put together, loving the Peterson brass

What projectile and velocity are you running in the 30? Did like the 300 PRC? Also are you running N570 in the 30? This is my first go around with this powder, just run some load tests in my 338 also and getting decent velocity without visual pressure signs.

I'm running 3000 with 220 lrhts and H1000 from a 24" barrel in the 30 nos, the prc was running 215’s the same velocity with N570 from a 27" barrel.
I had the clicker issues and Accuracy wasn't great with the prc, it was a cheap barrel though so I'm sure Accuracy had nothing to do with the cartridge.

Kinda an unfair comparison then if the barrel wasn’t up to par with the competition.

I'm not saying the prc isn't an accurate cartridge, just that my rifle was a huge disappointment, and the clicker thing is a real problem in the chamber design regardless of barrel quality
