NASCAR Accelerates Their Own Demise

NASCAR: We better kiss J Jackson's ass for diversity.

I gave up on them after they went to heat races in the cup series. I guess it wasn't fair enough to run a full 500 miles because some of them couldn't keep up. The next thing you know, we'll have ESL races.

Ask the Dixie Chicks how turning on the USA worked out for them...
This X 10
I use to active in both NASCAR an NHRA, but seeing the change in the last 10 years from afar they have sowed their own seeds an are about to reap what they sowed. I was done with them in 09 right before I retired, do to some of their policy changes an the spying they do on the crowds. If you dig into both behind the gloss, you will not like what you see I assure you.

The Bristol race was this past weekend. It's the one race that is usually packed. Saturday night under the lights. A friend of mine went to the race and he said that 25% or more of the place was empty. And the race sucked.

My mom grew up on a tobacco farm within earshot of the track. Best race in nascar IMO.

Wait until they have trannies driving the cars to please nancy pelosi and chuck schumer, suprise Nascar doesn't allow illegal aliens to enter for free.

They need to let them build the fastest cars possible and run those fuckers. If they shit out that’s on them. Fastest, most well built car that lasts the race wins.
With rules to keep the cars about the same it makes it a test of skill, strategy and luck. Rules are less of a problem than the queerbaits running the show. Jmho.

But there is plenty of cheating. Hicks + racing + money = there’s going to be some cheating. Walk a track after qualifying and you might find some buckshot. Frame loaded to make weight. Dumped to make the pole.

Meh, not so much.

Klye Busch likes and dominates in a very loose car. When the "car of tomorrow" was the car of the day Kyle dominated. While he is an amazing driver he has not done as well since that car was dropped.

Let them build cars to fit the driver's style so each can have the same amount of confidence.

Also, the cars have become irrelevant. By the time NASCAR adopted fuel injection there had not been a carbureted car sold in the USA for almost 25 years. Toyota has NEVER EVER made a pushrod motor of any kind (V8 or other) outside of NASCAR and FORD has not made a Pushrod V8 for 23 years (although 2020 will have one in superduty pickup).

I used to be NASCAR's biggest fan, but they have fucked up HARD.

Agreed, to quite a bit of an extent. Its NUTS what they can get them 358 OHV small blocks to do. I aint never been much for NASCAR itself per se, bu their cylinder head technology, etc and advancements always end up transferring to and being applied to drag racing engines which is what I enjoy. EG: the Chevy SB2 -> SBX, Ford/Roush-Yates C3, D3, etc most all the badass small block-required drag cars are now running canted valve heads that you can damn near directly trace back to what a Cup car was running a couple years prior(with a good bit of tweaking considering the different requirements). At the same time I agree they should loosen up the rules a bit, just like with NHRA Pro Stock. Pro Stock has kinda paralelled NASCAR in that way. Sure its cool that EFI is now allowed in Pro Stock, but come on.. If companies are gonna put as much money as they currently do into Pro Stock, lets see some DOHC 15,000 rpm behemoths! I agree with keeping Pro Stock limited to naturally aspirated 500ci V8's and no nitro, but other than that let em rip! Mercury of all folks is ahead of the curve with some of the craziness they're puttin out..

And thats w/ a off the shelf LSx based platform/geometry, god knows what one a them multi-million dollar Pro Stock teams could dream up with no restrictions on cyl. head design...

There should only be 3 rules other than mandatory safety that's in place now.
Rule # 1,, you only can have XXX cubes
Rule # 2, the car has to weight XXXX with the driver
Rule # 3, you must qualify a stock body car to enter

Other than those, it's what ever you can think up an how fast you can go.

Cites "Gradual shift on Guns"......

"Yes we here at NASCAR believe people are moving toward an acceptance of Gulags and Concentration Camps so we see it as necessary to help eliminate the veneration of the Bill of Rights and its included Second Amendment.

NASCAR is proud to be part of the "Bread and Circuses" that will keep the lemmings mind off of things as we strip them of all they should hold dear but are to distracted to care about.

I mean NASCAR is in step with eliminating all that "'Murica" shit that made us so successful when our sole purpose was providing good entertainment.....nows its imperative we be part of the propaganda machine to erode individual freedoms.

After all you have seen our fan base......you really want these people thinking on their own?"

Not a fan but it doesn't help that all the hotels in a 4 county area have started jacking their room rates to over 300 a night for the race. Would you be willing to spend 1200 for 4 nights in a Knight's Inn.
