Anybody on here going to the Hickory Groundhog Shoot on April 2nd this year? This will be my first year going, I'll be shooting my 700xcr tactical long range in 308 in the factory class. If you're going up there stop by and give a newbie a few tips. This will be my first competition so any advice is welcome.

I have the same XCR I gave myself for Christmas several months ago. I love it. I tried a little bit of everything and it really loves digesting Fiocchi 175's. I shot well in my first competition in Texas out to 1000 yds. In practice I shot a 3.75inch 5 shot group at 600 yds. I consistently shoot 1.1 inch groups at 200 yds when I can't make it to the longer range. I chose the Nightforce NXS F1 and have been very happy!
It's currently at the gunsmith getting a CDI detachable box magazine installed and the end of the barrel threaded for a suppressor.
