So,I'm pretty new to precision and handloading. I decided to pull a batch of my 175s and reuse the components. When reloading them I noticed it was much easier to seat the bullet, due to decreased tension in the neck. The projectile would still not shift with some significant pressure on the proj, but how much will this effect pressure and hence velocity from these cases ?
Do I need to neck size every one? Does it effect it all that much being as it's still the same amount of pressure from bolt to muzzle, even if it varies a tiny bit inside the case?
I'm to a 1/4 min shooter even if my rifle is, so are these acceptable rounds for practice, closer range, opinions are appreciated. Thanks.
