Do you guys neck turn fresh lapua brass for your precision rifles? I have my k&m tool and most of the time i only use it when i am necking down 7mm-08 to 260 or situations such as that. I have turned my lapua brass before and it does have some neck thickness variance prior to turning but i cant say i have ever seen a consistent accuracy increase related to this step. Given a chamber that isint cut tight requiring turning does anybody do this step to "top" quality brass?

I turn it for my FO rifles but for a precision rifle not sure it is really necessary. Last lot of 300 6.5-284 cases had burrs in the flash hole and needed to debur. First time I ever came across that with Lapua brass.

I neck turn any and all brass , I just bought 100 NORMA 300WM cases and turned them after sizing and I must say they were more uniform than my LAPUA 308 WIN cases . Why do I do this ? , simple process of elimination of any discrepancies .
