I don't turn cases just to be turning cases. (Except on the BR rifle) But if measuring CLEAN cases (you really need to make sure the case necks inside are really clean) gets you .004" or more variation from thin to thick place on the case neck, it becomes a definite possibility. But I separate the "turnable" cases and compare. Unless you have several cases to work with, don't rush out and buy a lot of gear. Personally I wouldn't go through all the hassle and headache unless I had a minimum of 100 rounds that were needing turned.
