neck turning for uniformity

Depending on the brass neck measurements, I sometimes do. Is it necessary? Perhaps not, but I like the thought of consistency. I have used K&M and Sinclair turning tools and prefer the K&M. It's just a bit more comfortable in my hand plus it has graduation marks for making adjustments. Perhaps the newer Sinclairs have these now too, mine is pretty old. I do use the drill adapter with a low speed screwdriver type drill. It woks fine for me. I have not used the Hornady.
I neck turn my F Class brass and use the 21st Century with the lathe attachment. Would recommend anything else. Very fast and accurate and the cutters are set at the proper shoulder angle.
Not doing it here. Lapua brass and no turn neck chambers. Enough time spent reloading as it is, would rather spend my time practicing and at the range. Maybe makes sense for F-Class and Benchrest but for PRS you can spend your time and energy in more efficient places if you want to improve.
When I run my lapua turned and unturned brass through my Amp annealer I can tell a difference seating the bullet. The ones that have been turned all turn out to be a more consistent CBTO than the ones that were unturned. It fills the OCD void. Thats my experience. I turn with a k&m also.
