I've decided to create a cad design for a rifle that i've had in my head for a bit, which pretty much is the AK platform updated with a modular design like on AR's and a few other improvements added to. Kinda like a Sig 556 but going to be more AK in design, also haven't decided if it will be a 300 AAC short barrel assault rifle or a 5.45x39 marksman rifle.
Anyways the dimensions I need.
1st I need the dimensions for the area the butt stock attaches to thus the port it slides into and also the part which holds the screw that goes into the stock. Need the depth, height and width of this port, and length and width of the plate.
2nd I need the dimensions for bit that you attach the pistol grip to and the thread used. This stud piece with the screw port I need the thread for and also the stud I need the height, width, and length of.
sorry I don't know the names of the areas, just something I never saw as important to know.
Also the reason i want the dimensions is because, making my design able to use AK butt stocks and pistol grips saves me time and also makes it slightly better since options are always good.
