I want one with a cutout for my tac light pressure switch. Only one I can find is a TangoDown MK46 (BGV-QDSF) Battlegrip. Are there other makes anyone would suggest? This will be used with a surefire tailcap pressure switch.
Tango Down comes to mind with having a pocket. Some of the grips out there have flat sides (i.e. Grip Pod) for mounting pressure switchs. But most of these are on the left or right side. The DD Convert Grip is set up for this flat pressure switch mount spot to rotate around and give flexibility. HOpe this helps out.
We designed this for some guys that use their gear hard and were breaking their forearm grips. They have the ability to hold 2 pressure pads and folds.
You can put pretty much anyone you want on, provided its long enough and modify it to accept the pressure switch. You can use some thin short screws, glue, velcro, etc...
I have a troy vertical grip that I love, but the zip ties kinda suck. Someone told me today to just find some black rubber bands and I am good to go. Sometimes I do not think.
I have the Larue FUG...not sure how they are on stock, but it is a great grip, feels very solid as it is made of a metal not plastic, but is hollowed out for weight reduction. it also comes with different length parts so you can modify the length and base type.
I bought a taped switch for a surefire weaponlight on ebay, was pleasantly surprised when it included a KAC vertical grip. I use with ranger band to secure the tape,it is thinner than my tango grip.
+1 for the Accu-Shot VFG. It is plenty strong, folds up nicely if you dont want to use it. When folded you can still mount your support hand to the forend of the AR with no trouble.
