Hello all. I am in need of a little advice on a scope purchase. I am looking at two scopes in the $600 dollor catagory. I am trying to decide between the Leupold VX-R patrol 3x9 with the TMR firedot or the Burris Tac30 6.5x20x50 with Ballistic Mil Dot. With my LE discount I can get the Burris for about $520. The best I have found on the Vx-r is $599. It will be going on a .308 rifle. Any advise on which would be the better scope to buy for the money. I have two other Burris Tac 30 scopes in smaller magnification and have been very happy so far but I have never had a Leupold. Or would I better to just save up some more and get the Burris XTR in either 4-16 or 6-24. Any thoughts would help. Thanks in advance

I dont have any experiance with those two scopes but you might want to look into weaver tactical 3-15 ffp mil/mil. They are just a little more but in the $700.00 range i feel there the best money can buy.
