I have a remington model 700 30.06sprg. I've had this gun for a few years, not a full box of shells has been fired thru it yet. (not that this really matters) but I was told when I bought it that it was some kind of limited edition. I believe the guy said there was 1500 made. 500 7mm mag, 500 30.06, and 500 270 or 243 I don't remember. Any how the thing came with a really cool camo synthetic stock with a matching camo nikon 3X9 scope.
My question is I was going to look the gun up by using the serial # but can't find where to do it. I've been to remingtons web site and have spent about 30-40 minutes looking around on the web. I finally just said "why not ask the experts" so here I am. The serial # is F6255697.
I was just trying to find some info on the scope really but can't see anything on it. It has the nikon markings on it and has realtree camo printed on it in a few places. but thats it. I thought maybe since it was a package deal if I could find a writeup on the gun I might find out more info on the scope as well.
