I called up OTM (On The Mark Tactical On the Mark-Everything for the Marksman!) talked to them about the AI barrels they sell. After talking with both Mark and Robert had them spin me up a 6cm barrel.

As most people know to have a rifle sent in for a rebarrel can be a PITA. That is one of the biggest reasons I went to the AI platform. So in talking with Mark and Robert they have barrels on the shelf ready to go. I took delivery of my barrel.
1st impression clean work all the threads looked good chamber was nice and polished. Engraving was nice the crown was excellent.
2nd coating was nicely done.
3rd barrel was ready to go on already had never seez on the threads.

I loaded up some rounds my go to 42.5 of 4350 down to 41.0 of 4350. This is my first go at it with a gain twist. First rounds hit about an inch low from my pervious barrel (was happy about that less ammo to waste).

1st 5 rounds out the new tube:

42.5gr was showing pressure so I went to the 42.0gr

41.5gr:

All were 5 shot groups at 100 yards.

I can say I was not at my best I have not been shooting as much as I should be and it is showing…

I am very happy with the barrel I still have less than 100rds on it. I did not get any velocities was only shooting groups. It was hot as hell which did not help my cause. The short and sweet of it, OTM (Thanks Mark and Robert) is awesome to deal with. Answered all my questions, delivered when they said they would.

I will be ordering a few more barrels from them when I make up my mind as to what I want (leaning towards a 6.5X47).

Anyone on the fence that has an AI you can feel confident OTM barrels shoot and they have them ready to go.

So does it spin on just like a factory AI barrel with a barrel vise and AI action wrench and torque wrenches? Did you check the headspace with a go/nogo/field gauge? What's the advantage of this over an AI barrel from MH or Euro? (other than spreading the wealth around, which is OK).

Thanks!

Well look up Robert Gradous if you don't know who he is.

His work speaks for him (Robert was a big selling point for me)

Second OTM supports our sport, they are down to earth people that actually get out and shoot.(I like supporting people that support us)

Yes it spins on like an AI barrel, yes go/no go gauges were used. Everything was is spec.

These are on the shelf ready to go, if you want something different they can accommodate. Depending on what you want it may take a little time to take care of it.

They are using Bartlein barrels.

My 6 Creedmoor chambered barrel is 23" finish length (on a Badger M2008). With 41.7gr. of H4350 and a 105gr. bullet mines avg. 2997fps. If I do my part right it will hold 1/4moa at 200yards.

Your group of a .484" minus bullet diameter comes in at a .241". Nothing wrong with that!!!! Nice shooting!

Frank, appears that inline zeroed calipers on a bullet. A 6mm hole+ paper gap +6mm hole= .484, the paper gap( paper between holes) looks about the same width as a bullet hole. Either way good shooting for a new barrel. Frank thank you for the awesome barrel on my 6.5 cm AI AE, that thing is stupid accurate. It actually shoots with my br rig, lo to mid .1s off a bipod and bag is happening often enough at 100 to know i limit it more then the rifle. I knew it was a good barrel when doing load work with 139s and the big group was .365"& small group was .116" over7 different charge weights

Didn't catch the zero on the calipers!

Cool on the 6.5 Creedmoor you have!

My eyes deceived me, ur right Frank about group size. I have that same caliper in the shop for measuring seals and bearing sizes for farm equipment. With mine zeroed out normal it looks exactly the same in regards to the frankford arsenal print on the slider. Hell of a good job inline6.
